What is the TOEFL iBT®?

The TOEFL® is a test of an individual's ability to use and understand English in an academic setting. The iBT version of the test is the most advanced and administered via the Internet.

The TOEFL® has become an admission requirement for non-native English speakers at many English-speaking colleges and universities. Additionally, institutions such as government agencies, licensing bodies, businesses, or scholarship programs may require this test. (Source: Wikipedia)

Even individuals who are not interested in taking the TOEFL iBT®, but wish to improve their language skills, would find the course valuable.


Test Format

Reading: 60-80 minutes / 36-56 questions

Listening: 60-90 minutes / 34-51 questions

Speaking: 20 minutes / 6 tasks

Writing: 50 minutes / 6 tasks


Preparation at Canada College

Canada College has a solid reputation for its TOEFL iBT® preparation course. Experienced teachers guide students through all of the skills needed with all aspects covered intensively. The course runs in 8-week cycles, meeting three times a week. Interested students can join at any point in the cycle and be reassured that they will not miss a thing. Students can even book and write their test at Canada College as we are a certified TOEFL iBT® test center.
